Step 1: God loves you - John 3:16. "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." God created you for a loving relationship with Him.

Step 2: Sin separates us - Romans 3:23. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Our sin breaks fellowship with a holy God and brings spiritual death.

Step 3: Jesus saves - Romans 5:8. "But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Jesus took our penalty on the cross and rose again so we can be forgiven and made new.

Step 4: Accept Him in prayer. Salvation is God's gift you receive by faith. You can pray something like this:

"Lord Jesus, I admit I'm a sinner and I need You. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and receive You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for forgiving me and giving me eternal life. Help me follow You. Amen."
